Thorn is Cassandra's uncle. He is a greedy man, very good with potions. In fact anytime he visits his sister he slips her a potion to cloud her visions, so she doesn't know what he's up to. He does not like Alex for Cassandra, rich is one thing, but Rich, Famous and Royalty is quite another. So he does his best to aid his niece when she wants to see a Falcon's Quidditch Match... he doesn't need to be a seer to see she has a liking to the Star Chaser... and something of an oddity, one of her children favors the man. Thorn is jovial, he charms many society divorcees and widows and charms them right out of their money, which he uses for himself and for philanthropic means... as to meet more socialites.
